Show -n- tell is always a free choice in P2, but please remember to bring appropriate toys to school.

Language Arts

  • Week 1: Letter Uu. We will be working on recognizing the letter, while also learning to trace and write the letter. 
  • Week 2: Letter Vv. We will be working on recognizing the letter, while also learning to trace and write the letter.
  • Week 3 Letter Ww. We will be working on recognizing the letter, while also learning to trace and write the letter.
  • Week 4 Letter Xx. We will be working on recognizing the letter, while also learning to trace and write the letter. 

Math

  • Week 1: We will be working on the number 17. We will be learning to recognize the number while also learning how to write the number.
  • Week 2: We will be working on A-B patterning. We will be doing spring worksheets that will help us improve our pattern skills.
  • Week 3: We will be working on the number 18. We will be learning to recognize the number while also learning how to write the number.
  • Week 4. We will be working on A-B patterning. We will be doing spring worksheets that will help us improve our pattern skills.

Social studies/Science:

This month we will be talking about different types of weather and our four seasons. This theme is two weeks long. The third week we will be talking about recycling and our Earth; we will be learning about the Earth and what we can do to help keep it clean. The fourth month we will be talking about plants; we will learn the different parts of a plant and what we need to make them grow. We are doing fun science experiments on fun Fridays in our classroom this month.
