Hello! My name is Marissa Valdez. I have been with Kennedy Academy since 2012. I have 14 years of experience in the early childhood field. I enjoy working with young children and look forward to teaching the students in the E2 classroom!

August 7-11- PLACEMENT TESTING and SPIRIT WEEK

Monday- Favorite Color Day (wear your favorite color to school)

Tuesday- Favorite Stuffed Animal (bring your favorite stuffed animal to school for the day)

We are going to learn letter recognition and letter sounds.  We will do two letters each week both upper and lower case letters.  We will also practice writing each letter.  We will learn to write our first and last names.

Math:

We will learn days of the week and months of the year.  We will have calendar every day at circle time.  We will begin number recognition and counting.

This July we will be working on our school garden.  We will be learning about plants, nutrition, and growing our own foods.
