Language Arts:  This month we are going to be learning the sounds “ng”, “or”, and “sh”.  We will be writing letters to Santa this month and doing other Christmas activities.  Please continue working on the sight words, as we will be starting a new section of sight words.


Math:  We will continue working on our workbooks this month.  We will be focusing on adding money, adding, and reading a calendar.  


Science/Social Studies:  This month we are going to be learning about dinosaurs.  We will learn about the different types of dinosaurs, when they lived, and theories behind what happened to them.  We will also be learning about Christmas.  We will be learning the true meaning of Christmas, by listening to the bible story about the birth of Jesus.  We will also be doing arts and crafts for the holidays.

My name is Jessica Wilson. I have been working here at Kennedy Academy since 2006. I am the kindergarten teacher in the E4 classroom. I have my bachelors degree in elementary education from Emporia State University. I also have three children of my own.
