LANGUAGE ARTSs: The first two weeks of Jan. we are going to do a lot of review to prepare us for testing week. The last two weeks we will begin working on letters O and P. There will also be introduction to more hands on activities to reinforce the language art activities we are working on.

MATH: For the first two weeks of Jan. we will be doing reviewing to help prepare us for testing week. The last two weeks we will go over and review numbers 14-15. I will continue to introduce the workbooks to the class. Almost every Friday there will be a story and a game that you can do as a family at home. We read the story as a class but it is always nice to reread it again as a family :).

We will talk and learn about difference between Fairy Tales and Folk Tales. The last two weeks we will dig deep into Kansas theme.

We have been focusing the last weeks of December working on sharing toys and picking up after ourselves. We will continue working on this during the month of Jan. This month we will be discussing Kansas in great depth ( Just a fun fact: When we have Kansas’s birthday all the old students thought it is Mrs. Kandice’s Birthday 🙂 ).

Just a little reminder for new and old parents, I will only be sending worksheets/activities home on Friday. Artwork and things they do on their home will be sent home almost daily. If you ever have any questions please feel free to speak to me at anytime. I am always available to discuss your child’s individual needs.
