July 1 – July 5: No School (Summer Vacation/4th of July)
Reminder: Kennedy Academy will be closed July 1st through July 5th! Please plan accordingly. Tuition is due for the week we are closed. Thank you!
Please remember to send your child with their labeled swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, & flipflops/water shoes in a labeled bag each MONDAY starting 6/24/19. On FRIDAYS, we ask that you take the bag home to be laundered and returned the following week.
Students should be sent to school each day with their sunscreen applied. We will reapply it in the afternoon only if we have written permission on file.
Even though the academic part of our program is more flexible during the summer, we still make sure we review at circle time every day, and enjoy themed activities that the students will enjoy to keep them learning! Along with that we have several fun activities planned this summer. These include but are not limited to: Splash Days, Sidewalk Smores, visits from the EMT, Police Cars, and the Ice Cream truck. The Topeka Public zoo will also bring some of their friends to visit us, and we will have a special visit from a Magician! We will enjoy Taco Tuesday and have a Pizza Party! And one of our biggest hits is our water slide day! How exciting!
